I’M Shelby
Give me a windy beach day, an old film camera, a backroad at sunset, and I’m completely in my element. I’m a wife and mom of two beautiful girls.
I’ve always been drawn to stroytelling, the in between moments, the movement, the emotion, the little details people don’t realize until years later. My style in inspired by vintage fil, cinematic light, sunsets in a field, mountain trails, coastal adventures, and the beauty of real connection. I love creating imagery that feels warm, adventurous, emotional, and imperfect in the best way.
A thoughtful approach to cinematic photography
Hello!Cinematic photography isn’t really about making something look like a movie, it’s about making it feel like one. It all starts with intention. Cinematic images are grounded in emotion, nostalgia, stillness, and connection. They feel like a frame pulled from a story that existed before and will continue after. Light plays such a huge role. You have to let light fall off, allow the shadows, to exist. At it’s core, cinematic photography is less about perfection and more about presence.
